Glass is a craftable block. It can be crafted by melting two Sand blocks to one glass block in a stone furnace.
Glass is a transparent block which can be used for decoration, e.g. for building windows. Glass can be also used as crafting material. It is needed to craft dye. If placed on a background above a certain height, it will allow light to flow into the area.
